IAS Director of Information Technology Greg Smela helps keep IAS websites and publications at the leading edge of the online revolution. Greg has been working with online technologies for more than 30 years. Beginning with a stint as a Forum Manager for the early CompuServe Information Service, where he developed some of the earliest online services for the construction industry, he has served as the Information Systems Director for Associated General Contractors of America as well as the Chief Technology Officer for the Mechanical Contractors Association of America where he created those organizations’ first online services.
Greg is a resident of Vermont where he enjoys beekeeping and harvesting honey.
